2 Part Class
11/08 & 11/15
4-5:30 pm at Jefferson Park’s Clubroom
11/08
We will begin our class by creating sticker designs. Each student will receive paper to sketch and color and create doodles.
After the coloring is completed we will begin sculpting with air dry clay. The students will learn some basic techniques on how to craft pinch pots and trinket trays. All are welcome to use their creativity with any leftover clay. The clay creations will need a week to dry.
*Each attendee will receive a project to work on at home.
11/15
Each student will receive their printed out sticker designs at the beginning of class.
Next we get to inspect our clay creations and begin decorating! Dress for mess as we will be painting in this class.
While we wait for our painted pots and trays to dry, we will begin our very last craft in the Autumn Art Workshop. Our last craft will be a fun Autumn Themed Fluid Art Suncatcher. The class will learn about alcohol ink and use droppers to create an abstract design that can be hung as a sun catcher.
*As always, each student will receive a take home project.
